Though relatively new to Singapore property development,  this big chinese conglomerate has businesses in aluminium, textiles, finanace, tourism, education, aviation, healthcare and of course, real estate. The architects responsible for the design of Thomson Impressions Condo is ADDP Architects LLP with the landscape by Ecoplan Asia Ltd.

Thomson Impressions is located in the Upper Thomson area which is an area known for its green areas and also the numerous cafes and restaurants. There are 288 units with an equal number of parking spaces for residence. The 288 units are located in 2, 19-storey tower blocks and the development also boasts 5 strata landed units.

Access to the property is via the main gate on Lorong Puntong with side and backgates at both Lorong Puntong and Sin Ming Ave. Card access is provided at lobbies for added security but for the convenience of visitors, there is access to the clubhouse/pool from the basement carpark. For the handicap, the architects have added handicap friendly features.

A big draw for investors would be the proximity of Thomson Impressions condo to Ai Tong School which is currently being upgraded but should be back in operation by the time the condo gets its T.O.P. The expect TOP date is in 2019. Another benefit for buyers of this real estate property would be its closeness to the Thomson MRT and BrightHill MRT stations, both currently under construction.

The Site Plan for Thomson Impressions lists 26 different facilities available to residents. The shortcut to the BrightHill MRT station is at the upper right. The main entrance to the condo is located on Lorong Puntong. A convenient side gate (Z) at the lower edge leads to bus stops along Sin Ming Ave. Along the upper edge of the property are the five strata units (labelled 5-13). Two 19-storey tall blocks contain the 283 condo units.

Recent developments in the same local area include Thomson Three which has since sold out. Thomson Impressions offers the same amenities as Thomson Three since they are in the same neighbourhood but Impressions is closer to Ai Tong which is a plus for kids attending school there but on the flip side the distance to the future Thomson MRT and Thomson Plaza are both further but fortunately still within walking distance. Thomson Impressions will appeal to those who enjoy greenery and nature with its proximity to many nature parks but it is still relatively convenient in terms of access to the major expressways and there are countless amenities along Thomson Road including higher institutional institutes like James Cook University and the many quaint and cosy eateries and interesting shops.
